Tonecast does not have accounts and does not store the text you enter or the audio you generate.

What happens when you generate

Your text, chosen voice, model and style are sent to our speech provider (Microsoft Azure Speech or OpenRouter, which routes to Microsoft) to create the audio. The audio is returned to your browser and is not kept on our servers.

Free quota

To share free characters fairly, we count characters used per IP address per day. The counter holds only the IP address and a number, and it expires after about a day.

Analytics and hosting

We use Vercel Web Analytics, which records aggregated page views without cookies. The site is hosted on Vercel, which receives standard request data such as your IP address. See the Vercel Privacy Notice.
